Each season Bird & Tale transforms its showroom to highlight work that relates to a specific tale or concept. Our current theme is titled Colibrí, the word for hummingbird in spanish.
Colibrí's program includes a private concert by modern singer and song-writer La Paula Herrera. La Paula Herrera is a musician from Chile living in Chicago. Paula takes inspiration from the folkloric root of the Southern Cone. Her music is written in a Spanish poetic language - mixing South American roots, pop, jazz, harmonies, latin beats and indie sounds. In February 2013 she won the Silver Gaviota for the best song in the Viña Festival in the folk competition.
This Bird & Tale presentation is filled with magic, fantasy, and romance. It is about the stuff dreams are made of, and how wonderful it is to share them. Visit us to experience Chicago’s most whimsical shop.
Our space is small and precious, hence only 42 tickets are available.
