La Paula Herrera is a contemporary Chilean independent singer, songwriter, and sculptor, with seven self-released albums to her name. With over 18 years of experience and numerous awards, including the Silver Gaviota for winning the Folkloric Competition at the Viña del Mar Festival in 2013, Paula draws inspiration from the folk music of the Southern Cone in her songwriting. Each of her songs is like a poem, reflecting her profound artistic expression. A gifted performer and multi-disciplinary artist, Paula is currently working on new material for her upcoming album.

La Paula Herrera is a musician from Chile living in Chicago. Paula takes inspiration from the folkloric root of the Southern Cone. Her music is written in a Spanish poetic language - mixing South American roots, pop, jazz, harmonies, latin beats and indie sounds. In February 2013 she won the Silver Gaviota for the best song in the Viña Festival in the folk competition, the most important Hispanic Festival. Also, Paula is a member of Palette and Chisel.

Each season Bird & Tale transforms its showroom to highlight work that relates to a specific tale or concept. Our current theme is titled Colibrí, the word for hummingbird in spanish.
